Importing A Chat

VibeCheck currently focuses on WhatsApp exports and compatible text transcripts.

For WhatsApp:

1. Open the chat.
2. Tap the chat name.
3. Choose Export Chat.
4. Choose Without Media.
5. Save the .zip or .txt file to Files.
6. Open VibeCheck and choose the export.

The app parses the export locally before report generation. Large, corrupt, unsupported, or password-protected files may fail to import.

Privacy And AI

VibeCheck does not keep the raw chat export after parsing. The finished report can be stored locally, backed up when cloud is configured, or shared through a public link if you choose to publish one.

When AI generation is configured, a full or sampled transcript may be sent to a backend AI proxy to generate the report. When AI is unavailable, VibeCheck can produce a local deterministic report based on observable transcript patterns.

Subscriptions And Billing

VibeCheck Premium is planned through Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat. The app supports weekly and yearly plans only. There is no monthly plan.

If plans do not appear, try dismissing the paywall and opening it again. If you already purchased Premium, use Restore Purchases in the app. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in Apple ID settings.

Reports, PDFs, And Share Links

Premium reports can be exported as PDFs. If public sharing is configured, the app can create a public link for a full report. Anyone with the token may be able to open the shared report until you revoke the link.

Account Data And Deletion

VibeCheck works without a personal login. It uses an anonymous account key on your device.

Inside the app, the Account screen lets you export local account data and delete local data. Deletion clears local reports and subscription state, rotates the anonymous key, and attempts to clean matching cloud backups and public links when cloud services are configured.

Contact Checklist

When emailing support, include:

• Device model and iOS version.
• VibeCheck app version, if available.
• What you were trying to do.
• Any visible error message.
• Whether the file was a WhatsApp .zip, WhatsApp .txt, or another compatible transcript.

Do not email full private chat exports unless support explicitly asks for a small sample.
